  • The Pearl Psychedelic Insititute - Waynesville, NC - Mission: “To advance the study and understanding of psychedelic medicines through research, treatment, training and community education.”

  • Cohoba is a BIPOC-led 501(c)(3) non-profit in Charlotte, NC. It is structured as an integrated healing center. We are a collective of advocates, creatives, and licensed therapists committed to providing equitable psychedelic-assisted therapy in a community mental health setting.

  • The Reaching Everyone in Distress Foundation (REID) is a charitable organization dedicated to tackling addiction in Ohio. They are investigating the potential of the psychedelic substance ibogaine in addressing opioid use disorder (OUD).

  • Decriminalize Nature Columbus - Mission: To improve human health and well-being by decriminalizing and expanding access to entheogenic plants and fungi through political and community organizing, education, and advocacy.

  • The University Of Pennsylvania has endorsed psychedelic research through its nursing program.

  • The Penn Psychedelics Collaborative is a multi-school consortium of faculty, researchers, clinicians, and trainees advancing the University of Pennsylvania as a hub of scholarship and innovation in the psychedelic field.

  • Philadelic is a Conference on the transdisciplinary frontiers of psychedelic studies held October 3-6 at the University of Pennsylvania.

Religion and Psychedelics: Critical, Cross-Cultural, Cross-Disciplinary Approaches

This conference will bring together a wide range of scholars and practitioners to discuss complex relationships between psychedelics and religion. We are now in the midst of what has been called a "Psychedelic Renaissance," which has raised many questions about the relationship between traditional uses of psychedelics (peyote, ayahuasca and psilocybin mushrooms) and modern scientific and medical research. Presenters will include indigenous artists and practitioners, psychiatrists, scientists and scholars in the fields of religion, anthropology and art history.
